Trip in Melbourne

Melbourne is one of the most international cities in Australian. Today, two years after a five days tour in Melbourne, Its historic free trams in the city, art work surprises hidden in corners are awaiting to be discovered and more laid back life style are still fresh in my memory.

Galleries and museums are places you can not leave without visiting. Small and big galleries presenting wide range of art works such as modern paintings, sculptures flood the whole city.

City circle tram provide a free service to take you look around  whole central Melbourne and they sometimes offer tour guide introducing the history of some famous spots.

Victoria state library is another must go. Its outlook is Medieval style, low pitch roof line supported large rounded columns imitates in the design of Greek temple. Its inside is not only ancient and super spacious for use, but also does provide exhibition of historic information and antiques.

If you feel more like enjoy in nature, The Great Ocean Road, Twelve apostles and Philip Island are there for you to visit. Views at the former two are absolutely breath-taking and spectacular. At Philip Island you can see a cute little wild creature, penguins. Please note for their protection, taking photos is prohibited.

This blog also record my travel within the Australia. This time I will write Wollongong.I think it was my first travelling in Australia.
In a weekend, we decided to go to Wollongong, we can go to there by train, consider we might go back lately, finally we drove to there.
The first destination is Nan Tien Temple, it was my first time visit foreign country temple, it seems no difference with China.
After visited, we went to the mountain near the Temple, and there has a big bell.everyone tolled it.

And then, we went beach side.(It seems to I always go to beach side,because I live  in China, don't have too much chance to go to beach.)

It was winter, but sunshine made us warm.

And we sat on the big gun, took this funny picture.Wollongong has too much differences with Sydney. It tranquility, peace and serene.It look like Sydney's backyard.

Travel in mount Wutai

This place I’m going to introduce is a famous buddhistic landscape in my hometown. Wutai Mountain in Shanxi Province is located in northeast China, 230 kilometers from the provincial capital Taiyuan. Emei Mountain in Sichuan, Jiuhua Mountain, Putuo Mountain in Zhejiang are collectively called "the four famous mountains of Chinese Buddhism." Buddhism and the Chinese tourist destination, famous summer out of China's top ten first.

I visited there before I came to Australia. The most impressed one I remembered is called Bulmo hole, which is a small hole in the mountain with a small entrance just can squeeze through by one person. The most amazing thing is that no matter how fat or how thin you are, there is only one person can squeeze through. The other interesting thing we tried is mook food. All the progress are followed as what the monks do everyday, we chanted sutras before eating, finish all the food in the plant, and chanted sutras after the meal.

It was really a special journey.

Gold Coast

I had the happiest time in the Australia Last year during the Christmas holidays because I had been to the gold coast which gives me a deep impress.

Gold Coast is located in the south of Brisbane, at about 78 km which is famous for its sun, surf and sand. You can reach there at about one hour by car. You also have another choice to reach there, by bus or by train. There are a large number of highly interesting theme parks, more well-known Warner Bros Movie World, Sea World, Wet'n'Wild Water World and Dream World. Surfing is a popular and attractive sport for visitors in the Gold Coast. In addition, you can go to Paradise Country which is an Australia traditional farm where you can experience the most primitive way of life, enjoy drinking tea outdoors and watching local shearing performances. Gold Coast is Australia’s holiday pleasure resort, where there is bright sunshine, white sand beaches and clear blue water, romantic palm trees, people come here to enjoy the sunshine and enjoy life.

Surfers Paradise is the center of Gold Coast, with beautiful scenery and tourist facilities, where you can either swim in the Pacific Ocean or play volleyball on the beach, or just take a look at the scenery lying on beach.

Trip New Zealand(Ian)

If I was feeling so tired of all the crowds and noises of city life and wanted to find a place to cool down and get recharged, I would probably bring myself to South island of New Zealand, a place can be scenic, natural, relaxing and exciting at the same time.  In South Island, plains, mountains, glaciers and fiords are spectacularly scenic and natural. Its lifestyle is absolutely relaxing and the outdoor activities can be educational and exciting. Moreover, it is suitable for both kinds of travellers who like to stay at a place for a few days and move to next one, and who want to dash around to see as much places as possible.

In this post, I would like to share some of my personal experience about travelling in South Island. First of all is about planning, in general, people always start trips from Christchurch and go around the Island. There are a variety of ways to travel. By bus, with a round ticket which is always a better bargain with no time fixed, so it provides a degree of freedom for us to decide how long to stay in a town and when to leave. However, in a day, there is only a limited number of buses coming and going.

Pros: a room of choices for planning, no long distance driving and relatively cheaper.

Cons: relatively less mobile after arriving in a town (need to be on foot or by taxi)

If you are keen in more mobility, car travelling will be the best choice. Car hiring charge is in the range of 40-60, if it is a small sedan (1600cc-1800cc). Distances between famous attractions can be from 4-6 hours driving.

The train trip between Christchurch and Greymouth is also one of the most spectacular panoramas in the world. It is definitely worth seeing and it only costs for 110 Australian dollars.

Activities: there are also a lot of exciting activities for adventurers, such as one of the highest bungy jumping in the world, near Queenstown, sky diving at Queenstown where a lake within it and is surrounded by mountains, fabulous view, seeing from sky, cave exploring, hours riding in the scenes of the lord of the ring and glacier climbing.

It was an incredible trip. If you have time, spend a week there and make it memorable. 

newcastle

I want to  posting some blogs to show my travel within the Australia.
Last year mid-term break i went to Newcastle with my friends, it is near to Sydney, we drove to there, about 3 or 4 hours.
The first day we went to beach side, i have to say Australian environment is pretty good!
I took picture for them.The fat gay is my boyfriend.

We bought seafood as ours dinner and took it to accommodation, cause we have a mini kitchen.That was a nice dinner!
Second day was a big day. We book a small boat for fishing!

Finally we didn't get any thing.-_- Whole day！
But we saw beautiful scenery,the photo i took like a picture lol

Third day, we rid horse.But we wore inappropriate clothes, like shorts or vest, so we were badly bitten by the mosquitoes.

And then, we drove karting ,it is an exciting and dangerous game. So we must wore   safety helmet, even that we hurt leg. And staff is really rude!! I don't want to go there anymore.

Anyway, that was a good trip.
